I had a hard time trying to come up with an idea to surprise j when i found out the sex of the baby since he's so far away. My friend mandy helped me execute my final idea. She had J come over to pick up an important 'package' from her mailbox, that note led him outside to another box, and inside was a folded up 3x4' poster (you can get them enlarged really easily at kinkos) that said the above words, complete with a large blue squirt gun. Thanks for all your nice words, we're so excited!!

This is the cutest idea. I bet it made him feel so much more a part of things even though he has to be far away.
By the way, the cinnamon roll recipe was too long to write (and I was too lazy), but seriously, just get Peter Reinhart's book. It's one of those kitchen library staples; you will not regret buying it. I've made at least half the breads in it already and they're all so good (and all whole grain!).
